Went to Andy’s place (My Old Roc on Vortex) A.K.A. Chewbacca (You know, because he’s a hairy bastard!).
We tuned his megasquirt, we rotated my tires, and clean our air filters.
The hood got a new ornament!

Drove through LA and went to see the Hollywood sign! Drove by NBC’s studios to see where The Tonight Show is filmed.
We visited a few landmarks around the area for some pictures!
Will is working on a patented variable compression, variable displacment multifuel engine. This is the test setup he is using right now – and it is amazing. This engine gets FAR better economy and efficiency than a normal otto-cycle engine.
Tony’s Pizza was voted the best Pizza in Orange County – I think it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had from a Pizza restaurant!
Will took me to In-N-Out Burger – an awesome local burger chain that is pretty famous. We also did some canyon driving.
Entered California. They inspect you – I guess because they are a different country or something!
Anyway, Microsoft said I should take CA 74 to Temecula, CA where Mike is located. Who knew it would be such an AWESOME AWESOME KICKASS FREAKING ROAD!!
Mike’s Scirocco is sweet – it’s a race-scirocco.
He has some parts laying about. I think he made a thread about this.
He also has Scirocco body panels. They are very nice and rust-free. Some parts, chemicals, candy.
Muhahahahaha!
I’m on I-10 heading for California. I’m stopping at Mike Potter’s place, then on to Veetarded! 😀
Thanks to Paul and his Wife for hosting me in Chandler, Arizona.
Thrasher and I went to BAP Import auto parts. It had all kinds of neato stuff.
My computer’s screen will not turn on when the temperature is over 85 degrees. If it is already on – then the screen will stay on above 85. It’s the turning on that dosen’t work.
When it gets above 95 degrees, the computer slows down, gets crashy and sometimes it turns the screen off, then on – of course – it fails at turning back on. I see this screen A LOT.
Did the state capitol in Phoenix, AZ
There’s a university of Phoenix here. Whoda thunk? 😀
Took some pictures at Canyon Lake…
Met Sciroccohal at Paul’s place. He has a very very nice and shiny Mk1 Scirocco. He showed me a cool modification to the heckblend on the rear of the car – 74 LEDs!
About 250 Pictures in this post!
I SAW THE THING!! MUAHAHAHAHHAH!
I also saw a bunch of classic cars, and a Ford F100 rally.
The thing is at the bottom of the block of pictures below.
These are the leaving New Mexico pictures.
I’m headed for the Pima Air & Space Museum. It’s so large – there are many planes outside!
Take a look at the map
Cool!
Visited a pistachio tree farm. Then we went back to Holloman AFB to take pictures of the planes on the parade grounds.
Rave Racer took me on a tour of Holloman Air Force Base. There were stealth planes on sticks, German Tornado planes, the German Airforce, Remote-controlled F-4 Phantoms, and THE T-38s used as the enemy “MiGs” in the Top Gun movie.
White Sands is very close to Alamogordo – where I’m staying tonight.
